Suzhou I-Park (SIP) is located at the core area on the axis of Hudong in Suzhou Industrial Park, and to be developed in three phases. Invested by Suzhou Sungent Holdings Group, the park focuses on the four main areas of Administration Consulting, Finance Data, Finance Support, and R&D. The mission is to grasp the opportunities arising at the critical stage of SIP’s “second boost” featuring industrial structure transformation and upgrading, to create excellent service system for local economy, and to become an important base of production-oriented service and knowledge process outsourcing.

3:30 PM - 11:59 PM Site Tour B: AkzoNobel Finance Shared Services Center Suzhou

In the early 2014, AkzoNobel China started to set up a captive finance shared service center to serve 14 business units, 39 business entities and 7,000 employees in China. With the team resource and capability, AkzoNobel successfully transited transaction accounting process from business to the Shared Services Centre in Suzhou during one and half years. The shared services center, with about 110 full time employees provides finance service in the area of P2P, T&E, O2C and R2R for all the business in China. All processes in the Shared Services Center are managed by team leads with operation excellence as their major priority, and supported by the Center of Expertise (CoE) with the focus on process improvement and quality assurance.
